Skipping dates when moving with mouse

This happens on schedules which span several years and has to do with the screen resolution and Milestones' ability to map the mouse coordinate to a specific date.  If, for example the screen resolution is 1280 by 800 and your schedule covers 10 years (3650+ days), then if you are using the fit in window view some dates will be skipped.  There are several ways to resolve this issue:

Method 1 - Zoom in

1. Right click to select the symbol you want to move.

2. Choose Zoom in.  (repeat this step as needed)

3. Click once on the symbol you want to move.  

4. While holding down the keyboard Shift key, use the keyboard right or left arrows to move the symbol one day at a time. 

Method 2 - Move symbols with the keyboard arrow keys

1. Select (the arrow tool).  

2. Click once on the symbol you want to move.

3. While holding down the keyboard Shift key, use the keyboard right or left arrows to move the symbol one day at a time.

Method 3 - Enter a specific date

1. Select (the arrow tool).

2. Double-click the symbol you want to move.

3. Under Date,  enter a new date (or use the calendar icon to select a date).

4. Click OK.
