Change properties of summary bar symbols

Question:

How do I change the symbols and bars for the summary bars which show up automatically? I tried to click on them, but nothing happened.

Answer:

To change the symbols and connectors that appear on the summary lines, choose Layout| Summary Bar Settings. Then, make selections under For Normal Summary Bar Symbols and Bars.
