Add text to a horizontal bar

Yes.  Each horizontal bar consists of a start date symbol and an end date symbol.  Text to be positioned inside a bar is associated with the start date symbol.

1. Click the start symbol for the bar on your schedule to which you want to add text.

2. Enter text for Line 1.

3. For Text Placement choose Middle and  Center Text on Bar.

Here is an example of what you might see:

Set up the toolbox so that a bar placed on the schedule defaults to have text centered in the bar:

1. On the toolbox, double-click the left most symbol associated with a bar:

2. On the Text/Date Properties tab, choose Middle and Bar for Date placement.
