Date format and importing from Excel

Question:

We are trying to import a spreadsheet from Excel to Milestones. We have correctly mapped the dates to the proper fields, yet the start and finish dates are not appearing in the Milestones schedule. What is the solution?

Answer:

In Excel, change the date format for the date column to mm/dd/yy, then the format will be compatible with Milestones.
